Mug Rug Reveal 2021

THIS IS A SECRET EXCHANGE!  WHEN YOU RECEIVE INFORMATION
ABOUT YOUR RECIPIENT, IT'S A SECRET!

Mail to recipient by December 1, 2021


Rules:

Mug Rug should be from 5” x 5” to 7” x 9”   
Any shape is fine – rectangle, circle, hexie, etc
It should be 3 layers (front and back with batting between)
No embellishments like sequins, beads, etc. (since a mug will be sitting on it)
The Mug Rug needs to be washable
Your Mug Rug will need binding.  If not, face it or back it so there are no raw edges   
If you don’t know anything about the person you are making the Mug Rug for,
ask around!

Mail finished Mug Rug in a padded envelope to your secret recipient by Dec 1, 2021.
The Committee will have padded envelopes available for pick up from St. Andrew’s Church at our afternoon Coastal Quilters Guild drop off/pick up Thursday, November 11 

When a Mug Rug comes to your mailbox (after December 1) 
please wait to open it
 until the December 9th Zoom CQG General Meeting

If it is a problem to mail your Mug Rug, call a committee member,
or e-mail zoom@coastalquiltersguildssb.org and we will make arrangements

Important – when mailing your finished Mug Rug in a padded envelope, 
please use the return address of Coastal Quilters Guild, P.O. Box 6341, Santa Barbara, CA 93160
