BIG NEWS: 
We are accepting additional Quilt Entries

The Quilt Show layout for Warren Hall is nearly complete and we have room for a few additional quilt entries.  Here are the details:  

  • Deadline for additional entry:  Friday, August 19.
  • Size Limit:  No larger than 45" wide; no longer than 80".
  • If you turned in two (2), you can turn in a third (3rd).  If you turned in three (3), you can turn in a fourth (4th)
  • To enter:
    • Send an email to cqgshow@coastalquilters.com requesting an entry.  Be sure to include the WIDTH of your quilt in the email.
    • Next, complete a Show Entry Form, just like you have already done for your other quilts,  and mail it with a picture ASAP to the address on the back of the form.  All other Entry Guidelines apply.  You can request to have this quilt judged too.  Entry form must include a check for $25 with the Entry Form.
  • We are also accepting additional quilts to be judged:  the limit has been increased to three (3) but will depend on entry count.  This is for quilts  already entered that you did not specify judging at the time
  • To enter:
    • Send an email to cqgshow@coastalquilters.com requesting a previously submitted quilt be judged.  Specify the name of the quilt.  
    • Send a $25 check for each quilt to 
      • Coastal Quilters Guild, PO Box 6341, Santa Barbara 93160
Essentially, we are accepting entries again, with a deadline of Friday, August 19.  Send entries ASAP.  First in, first chance of being included in the show.

Upcoming Dates:

  • August 15:  Kids Can Quilt Quilt Project & Completed and signed entry form are due.Assuming we have your pre-registration form, you will be contacted for delivery point soon.  See the website for more information or contact Tami Knudson at 805-450-8853 or tamiknudson@gmail.com.
  • August 22-August 29:  Quilts will need to be delivered to a collector You will be contacted by August 21 by your collector.
  • September 1:  The last day you can buy Early Bird tickets for $10.  Go to the Quilt Show page of our website where you have an opportunity to order tickets with cash, checks or, new this year, credit cards.  Just click on the appropriate link.  Remember tickets will be $12 at the door and even Guild members need to purchase a ticket. 
  • Judging Day, September 12:  Judging Day for the Harvest of Colors Quilt Show is Monday, September 12.  

REMEMBER YOU MUST BE A MEMBER TO ENTER QUILTS IN OUR SHOW

Car Posters:

On the left side of the Quilt Show tab of our website, there is a link to a Car Flyer which you can print off and post in a window in the back seat of your car.  If you have a business or visit businesses who will post the flyer in the window, we would appreciate you sharing the flyer with them too.
